Heat Exhaustion

WebMD has a few things to watch out for to make sure you, your parents, or your kids aren't getting too much heat.    Check out their page at this link

If you think you've got a little too much heat on your hands, the treatment is generally common sense:

  1. Drink plenty of water
  2. Remove any tight or unnecessary clothing
  3. Take a cool shower, bath, or sponge bath.
  4. Apply other active cooling measures such as fans or ice towels.
  5. If that doesn't make quick changes, call your doctor.  Our lifeguard can help.
