Happy Father’s Day!

Time Trials went well on Saturday, and now we are getting ready for an exciting season of swimming! Here is a preview of our week ahead:

Monday: regular afternoon practice

Tuesday: is the last day of school for FCPS. There will be no swim practice that day. The CSC Social Committee is hosting an End of the Year party starting at 1:30pm.

  • Reminder: PLEASE write in the binder by Tuesday evening if your child will not be here on Saturday (or any Saturday).

Wednesday: Morning practices begin, which includes the critters! (7:30-8:30, 8:30-9:30, 9:30-10:15am).

(If your swimmer wasn't at time trials, the coaches will need to get their times during practice this morning. )

Thursday – Friday: morning practice continues. You will receive an e-mail Thursday evening with who is swimming in this Saturday's meet. Please check this!

Friday evening: Potluck dinner and spirit activity at 6:30. More information to follow.

There will be a special “spirit activity” Friday evening for the 8 and unders, called “8 and under thunder” – we need an 8 & under parent willing to run this please! Reply to this email if you are able to do this.

Saturday (June 25) – first A meet vs. Long Branch at home. The coaches have chosen “pajama party” for the theme of this meet. Swimmers need to be at CSC by 7:55 a.m. Warm ups begin at 8. If your child is not swimming, you can still come cheer on the team and eat some delicious pancakes and bacon from the snack bar!

Monday, June 27- Our first FAST Meet @ Sideburn Run begins at 6pm. This is a tri-meet. Swimmers will be asked what they want to swim at practice on Monday morning. More information to come.

THEMES for the rest of the Sat. meets:

July 2 - away meet: Hawaiian luau

July 9 - away meet: pirates & princess

July 16 - home meet: Harry Potter
